Device logs let us dig into an issue a driver is experiencing on the Driver app. This article explains how to trigger them and how to confirm they were pulled successfully.
Before you start
Driver logs can only be triggered while the driver is logged in to the Driver app, on the same day the issue occurs. They cannot be requested retroactively; once the day has passed, that window is gone.
Once logs are triggered, they are preserved within the system. If the driver logs out and logs back in afterward, the logs remain retrievable.
Steps to trigger driver logs
1. Go to Configurations and select Users.

2. On the Users screen, search for the driver.

3. Click Take Action, then click Request Device Logs.

How to verify logs were pulled successfully
1. Go to Configurations and click Device Logs.

2. Select today's date, or the date the logs were triggered.

3. You'll see a file listed — this confirms the logs were pulled successfully.
