Hey, everyone!
We’ve released Driver App Version 6.12.0 on Tuesday, March 03, 2026.
Driver App Schedule View — New Day/Tomorrow/Week Schedule Experience
Key Highlights
Feature Summary:
Drivers now have a dedicated Schedule experience to quickly review their current day, tomorrow, and full week—with both a summary-level snapshot and an expandable run-level itinerary view for operational clarity.
What’s New?
Summary view (per run) includes:
- Number of passengers in the run
- Total run duration
- Total run distance
- Seating needs across all passengers in the run
- First pickup address and last drop-off address
- Run start time (consistent with Current Runs)
- Run end time (ETA of the last node)
- Option to view notes for all passengers in the run (as entered by dispatchers)

Expanded run card (on tap) includes:
- Number of passengers, total duration, total distance
- Seating needs across the run
- Run start time and run end time (ETA of last node)
- Passenger-level pickup and drop-off addresses
- Full run itinerary (node-by-node)
- Passenger names, seating needs, and individual notes
- Passenger tags
- For grouped nodes: seating needs required for each node
- Stop labeling indicators (e.g., P1, D3, etc.)

Value Delivered:
This gives drivers a faster, more predictable way to plan their day and week—reducing missed details (seating needs, notes, grouped stop requirements), improving readiness between runs, and making route context easier to understand at a glance.
Enhancement — Improved Phone Number Formatting in Driver Profiles
Key Highlights
Summary:
Driver phone numbers displayed incorrectly on Driver Profile (hamburger menu)—showing an incorrect country code and grouping (e.g., +2 166126550) even when the driver’s number is stored correctly in Dispatch.
What’s New?
- The Driver App now renders US 10-digit phone numbers correctly on the Driver Profile screen.
- Example: if stored as 1234567890, it now displays as +1 2166126550 (or a standard US-friendly display format like (216) 612-6550, while preserving E.164 storage behind the scenes).
Value Delivered:
Reduces driver confusion and prevents avoidable support questions caused by incorrect number formatting.
iOS Only — Permission Warning Banner on Login (Non-Blocking)
Key Highlights
Feature Summary:
On iOS devices only, drivers will now see a non-blocking warning banner after login if required permissions are missing (Android already provides an inbuilt experience).
What’s New?
After login (post license plate entry) on the Current Run screen, if Notifications, Motion & Fitness, or Location (set to “Always”) are not granted, the app displays a banner:
“You will not be able to use the Driver App. Please check your Settings and ensure all permissions are turned on, and Location is set to Always.”
- Banner is non-blocking: drivers can still interact with the UI normally.
- Banner remains visible until permissions are corrected.
- Once permissions are enabled in iOS Settings and the driver returns to the app, the banner automatically disappears and does not reappear as long as permissions remain granted.
Value Delivered:
Improves driver compliance and reduces broken workflows (missed checklists, failed scans, inaccurate tracking), ultimately lowering operational disruption and support volume.
