En-route Cancellations & No-Shows
Viewing cancelled and no-show trips within an ongoing run
Table of Contents
Overview
Dispatchers need a complete picture of every ongoing run — including trips that were canceled or no-showed after the run started. The En-route Cancellations & No-Shows toggle gives dispatchers exactly that: a full view of all trips in a multi-load run, with canceled and no-show trips clearly labeled, so nothing is left unexplained.
This visibility helps dispatchers quickly understand a driver’s route, respond to passenger inquiries accurately, and keep operations running smoothly without needing to chase down information from other sources.
How It Works
When the toggle is enabled on the Runs pane, trips that were canceled or no-showed after a run was marked ongoing will appear within the run, clearly labeled:
- No Show — the trip is displayed with a “No Show” label
- Canceled — the trip is displayed with a “Canceled” label
Every trip, whether completed, no-showed, or canceled, remains visible in its original position within the run sequence, along with the passenger's name, address, and scheduled time. This gives dispatchers an accurate, at-a-glance record of exactly what happened throughout the run.
Enabling the Toggle
The toggle is located at the top of the Runs pane in the Operations view. To turn it on:
- Go to the Operations screen
- Locate the “En-route Cancellations & No-Shows” toggle at the top of the Runs pane
- Click the toggle to enable. The Runs pane will switch to view-only mode
- Expand any ongoing multi-load run to see the full list of trips, including any that were no-shows or canceled
When the toggle is on, the Runs pane is in view-only mode. No changes can be made to any runs until the toggle is turned off. The color of the Run cards will switch to grey to indicate it is in view-only mode.

Reading a Run with No-Shows or Cancellations
Within an expanded run, trips are displayed in order. Any trip that was no-showed or canceled after the run went on will appear in its original position in the sequence, with a colored label indicating its status. All other trip details — time, passenger name, address — remain visible alongside the label, so dispatchers can understand exactly what occurred and when.

Things to Know
Run Status Is Not Affected
The status of a run reflects the run as a whole. Individual canceled or no-showed trips do not change the overall run status — it will always be based on the entire run's state.
Multi-load Runs Only
The toggle applies to multi-load runs — runs carrying more than one passenger. It is not available on single-passenger runs.
Affects Only Trips Canceled After Run Start
Only trips where the cancellation occurred after the run was in an Ongoing state will be visible. Trips canceled prior to the start of the run will not be shown.
View-Only Mode
While the toggle is enabled, the Runs pane is locked for viewing only. To make changes to a run, turn the toggle off, make your edits, then re-enable it to continue reviewing.
