Introducing – Tobi Open APIs

We are pleased to introduce our comprehensive set of API endpoints designed to facilitate seamless integration between vendors and TOBI. These endpoints empower vendors to manage trips, drivers, and vehicles while receiving real-time error responses for enhanced operational efficiency.

API Functionalities

1. Authentication
   1. Secure access with token-based authentication for all endpoints.
      
      
2. Trip Management APIs:
   1. Create Trip: Quickly create individual trips.
   2. Update Trip: Modify existing trips.
   3. Create Multiple Trips: Batch creation of trips for bulk operations.
   4. Update Multiple Trips: Batch updates for multiple trips.
   5. Cancel Trip: Cancel a specific trip.
   6. Get Trip: Retrieve details of a specific trip.
      
      
3. Driver Management APIs
   1. Create Driver: Add new drivers to your roster.
   2. Update Driver: Modify driver details.
   3. List Drivers: Fetch a list of all drivers.
   4. Get Driver: Retrieve specific driver information.
      
      
4. Vehicle Management APIs
   1. Create Vehicle: Register a new vehicle.
   2. Update Vehicle: Update vehicle details.
   3. List Vehicles: Fetch a list of all registered vehicles.
   4. Get Vehicle: Retrieve specific vehicle information.
      
      
5. Driver Shifts
   1. List Driver Shifts: Get a list of driver shifts.
   2. Get Driver’s Shift: Retrieve details of a specific driver’s shift.

Webhooks

Event-driven updates sent directly to vendor systems for real-time information.

Authentication: Secure webhook communication with token-based authentication.

Trip Management Events

• Trip Assigned: Trip assigned to a driver.
• Trip Unassigned: Trip unassigned from a driver.
• Will-call Initiated: Scheduled pickup initiated.
• Enroute to Pick up: Driver is enroute to the pickup location.
• Pickup Arrived: Driver has arrived at the pickup location.
• Pickup Completed: Passenger has been picked up.
• Dropoff Arrived: Driver has arrived at the drop-off location.
• Dropoff Completed: Passenger has been dropped off.
• Trip Canceled: Trip canceled by the vendor or driver.
• Trip Rejected: Driver rejected the trip.
• Trip Accepted: Driver accepted the trip.
• Trip No-show: Passenger was not available for pickup.
• Trip Saved: Trip details saved in the system.

Driver Management Events

• Driver Created: A new driver was added.
• Driver Updated: Driver information updated.
• Driver Activated: Driver was activated in the system.
• Driver Deactivated: Driver was deactivated in the system.

Vehicle Management Events

• Vehicle Created: A new vehicle was registered.
• Vehicle Updated: Vehicle information updated.

Driver Shift Management Events

• Driver’s Shift Created: A new shift was assigned to a driver.
• Driver’s Shift Updated: Existing shift details were modified.
• Driver’s Shift Deleted: A shift was removed from the system.

GPS Event: Real-time GPS updates for tracking drivers and vehicles.
