We released Version 4.47.0 on Thursday, January 30, 2025. This release includes some significant updates, which you can find below. These updates provide a seamless and accurate dispatch experience across multiple time zones. Thank you for your continued support and feedback!
Handling Different Time Zones Trips
To enhance accuracy and consistency in trip scheduling, our platform now display trip times in the service area's time zone instead of the dispatcher's or CSR's system local time. This ensures that all users—dispatchers, CSRs, and drivers—see booking times relevant to the trip’s location, reducing scheduling conflicts and miscommunication.
Please note: This feature is tenant-configurable and especially useful for tenants operating across multiple time zones. To enable it for your instance, please contact help@tobicloud.com.
Key enhancements of this feature are as follows:
Time Zone Standardisation Across the Platform
All trip-related timestamps now reflect the service area's time zone instead of the user’s local time.
Affected sections include trip screens, workbooks, reports, activity logs, and booking forms.
Color-coded time zone labels (ET/CT/PT) have been added to the trip and run cards for improved visual clarity.
Sorting on Trip & Runs Views: The trips will be default sorted by UTC time order.
Daylight Saving Adjustments: The platform automatically adjust for DST, preventing scheduling errors and keeping the requested time as is.
Run Cards & ETA: Estimated time of arrival (ETA) now reflects the correct service area time.

Time Zone Display on Booking Forms: The service area time zone is clearly indicated during booking.

Manual Run Closures: Operations can manually close runs in the appropriate time zone.

Shift & Performance Reports: Reports now display shift details in service area time, ensuring accurate tracking.

Workbooks: Consistent service area time zones across trip details for improved coordination.

Activity Logs: Timestamps will continue to show user's system time zone along with TZ identifier.

Enhancement - Password Reset via Email
Previously, users could only reset their password using their username.
With this update, users can now request a password reset using either their username or registered email address, making the process more convenient.
- Users will be prompted to enter either their email or username to receive reset instructions.
- A confirmation message will guide users on the next steps.
- If an email is not received within 5 minutes, users are advised to contact support at help@tobicloud.com.
- This enhancement applies to both web and driver app users.

Scheduled Trip Ticket Generation:
A scheduled process has been implemented to optimize system performance by generating trip tickets in bulk outside business hours instead of generating the trip after trip completion.
Key Updates:
- Automated Trip Ticket Generation: Trip tickets for all completed trips are now generated at the end of the day(Night Hours) instead of immediately after trip completion.
- Comprehensive Coverage: Ensures all completed trips from the date of service are included, preventing missed trip tickets.
- Manual Ticket Generation: You can still generate trip tickets manually at any time from the trip card/workbook.
- Trip Ticket Transfer: Post Trip ticket generation, it will still be sent over to 3rd party system via FTP.
