We released Version 4.48.3 on Thursday, February 27, 2025. This update introduces service area mapping in CSV uploads, reducing manual effort, improving trip accuracy, and streamlining the dispatch process.

Service Area Assignment in Creating Trips via CSV Uploads

To streamline accurate service area tagging in the bookings, we have introduced the ability to map service areas in the CSV upload.

Key Enhancements:

1. Users can now specify service areas within the CSV file before uploading.
2. The system will map the service area added in the CSV to pre-defined service areas in the Dispatch platform.
3. If a service area in the file does not match a pre-defined one, the system will automatically determines the correct service area based on the pickup address and assign to the booking.

Benefits:

1. This update removes the need for manual service area adjustments especially in the cases where pickup address isn't part of any defined service area, saving time and effort.
2. It also improves accuracy by ensuring correct service area assignments during trip uploads.

Things to Note during CSV Import:

1. Ensure that service areas are properly associated with the fleet in the dispatch platform.
2. Double-check service area names to avoid typos, as the system matches them exactly with the service area names present in the TOBI dispatch platform.
3. If a service area name doesn't match, the trip import will still proceed— the system will automatically calculate the service area.
4. Service area mapping is case-insensitive, so names will match regardless of letter case.
