Hey everyone!
We released Version 4.54.0 on Tuesday, April 08, 2025.
We've rolled out several key updates that streamline billing, improve login performance, and enhance data accuracy behind the scenes. These changes help reduce manual work and improve end-to-end trip visibility.
Key Enhancements:
Auto-Update of Booking's Billing status from Paid Claims
Bookings will now be marked as Paid/Partial Paid when the received claim amount matches the submitted amount within the configured threshold.
Backend Threshold Setting: Added a backend logic on account level that automatically updates a Booking's billing status to “Paid” when claims are settled and the payment amount received matches the submitted amount (within a configurable threshold)
Write us at help@tobicloud.com to update the threshold value.
Bookings Marked As Paid or Partial Paid
- When Claim is marked as Paid on Kinetik, TOBI will automatically mark the booking's billing status as Paid
- Within $1 threshold, payment in marked as Paid else marked as Partial Paid.
- Payments are applied on actual service code line item individually.
- Invoices will include all associated payment transactions, even when payments are received in multiple batches (ERAs).
- Payment details like check number and payment date are now recorded automatically and reflected in the invoice.
Faster Login for Drivers and Web Users
We’ve significantly improved the login experience on both the Tobi Driver App and Tobi Dispatch Platform.
- The login page now loads faster, especially in areas with slower internet connectivity.
- Optimized page load time by eliminating unnecessary processes.
Real-Time GPS Data for No-Show Trips to MAS
To support better attestation for "No Show" trips, we’re now sending real-time GPS breadcrumb data to MAS.
- Captures accurate “Cancelled At” timestamps.
- Helps ensure these trips are still eligible for reimbursement where applicable.
Other Enhancements
Service Area Field Now Available in CSV Imports for all tenants
- The Service Area field is now supported by default for all tenants when importing bookings via CSV.
- Automatically available on the field mapping screen.
More Reliable Recurring Booking Updates
- We’ve strengthened the recurring booking process to handle failures more gracefully.
- If an error occurs, any changes to tagging or untagging will now be safely rolled back.
- Ensures data remains consistent across all related bookings.
Bug Fixes:
Fix: Incorrect Booking Date Reversion
- Resolved a bug where accepting an older manual update would incorrectly revert the trip date.
- Update icons now disappear once MAS updates are applied in the background.
- Prevents confusion and ensures trip details stay accurate.
Fix: Service Area Name Not Updating in Database
- Resolved an issue where updates to the Service Area Name were not reflected in the database.
- Now, when a service area name is edited, the change is accurately updated in both the UI and the database, ensuring consistency across the platform.
With these updates, teams can expect faster access, better data accuracy, and improved billing workflows - making day-to-day operations smoother and more efficient.
As always, we appreciate your support and look forward to your feedback!
