Hey everyone!
We released Version 4.60.0 on Tuesday, May 06, 2025.
In this release, we’ve focused on making booking confirmations clearer and more actionable for dispatchers. From real-time updates on trip and route cards to refined cancellation handling and new filtering options, these enhancements are aimed at reducing ambiguity and helping teams respond faster to booking statuses.
Alongside key feature updates, we’ve addressed several usability issues and added thoughtful improvements to filters, maps, and trip visibility.
Key Enhancement:
Booking Confirmation Status on Trip and Route Cards
Note- The auto booking confirmation feature via SMS and phone call is available upon request. To run a pilot with your data and have this feature enabled, please contact us at help@tobicloud.com
Dispatchers can now view real-time booking confirmation statuses directly on the trip and route cards, helping them identify patient responses more quickly and manage exceptions more efficiently.
Confirmed Bookings
- A "Booking Confirmed" icon is now shown on both collapsed and expanded trip cards, and on the route card next to the passenger’s name.
- Hovering over the icon displays a tooltip: “Booking Confirmed”.
- Confirmation status text examples:
- Confirmed via Automated SMS at 5:05 PM, 09/13
- Confirmed via Automated Call at 5:05 PM, 09/13
- Confirmed Manually at 5:05 PM, 09/13

Not Confirmed Bookings
- No confirmation status is shown on the collapsed card.
- In the expanded trip card, clear status messages are displayed with timestamps:
- SMS Pending at 5:00 PM, 09/13
- Not confirmed, No Response to Call at 5:00 PM, 09/13
- Not confirmed, Received Invalid Response at 5:02 PM, 09/13
- If both SMS and call attempts are made, the latest unconfirmed status is always shown.

Requested Cancellations
- When a patient responds with a cancellation:
- A "Requested Cancelation" icon is now shown on both collapsed and expanded trip cards, and on the route card next to the passenger’s name.
- Hovering over the icon displays a tooltip: “Requested Cancelation”.
- If auto cancel is enabled, the trip is automatically cancelled and removed from the run.
- If auto cancel is disabled, the trip remains active, but "Requested Cancellation at 5:15 PM, 09/13" is displayed on the trip card.
- This applies to responses received via either SMS or call.

Filter by Confirmation Status
Dispatchers can now filter trips by:
- Confirmed
- Unconfirmed
- Requested Cancelation
These filters are updated in real-time based on the latest passenger response and persist across navigation until manually reset.

Known issue- Under confirmation status, it is written as “Cancelled” instead of “Requested Cancelation”. This will be resolved in upcoming release.
Real-Time Updates on Route Cards
Confirmation and cancellation statuses now update instantly on route cards, even if the trip was already part of a route when the status changed.

Enhanced Notification Handling
Scheduled notifications are no longer recreated when a trip has already been confirmed, cancelled, or marked with an invalid response - preventing unnecessary or incorrect notifications after booking edits.
Other Enhancements:
Dispatcher-Focused Filter Updates on Operations Screen
- User applied trip status filters now persist across search, page refresh, and login sessions. Dispatchers no longer need to reapply filters after routine actions like searching for a rider.
- Fixed list filters (like Trip Status or Vehicle Mode) will now retain their original order when selected. Options no longer jump to the top, ensuring a more predictable filtering experience.

Map Focus Reacts to Service Area Filters
- When a service area is selected from global filters, the operations map now zooms in to highlight selected service area geography on the map.
- When multiple service areas are selected then, map will adjust to show the all selected service areas.
Workbook Now Shows Cancelled Trip Details
Driver and vehicle details are now retained in the workbook for cancelled trips, giving dispatchers and auditors a complete view - similar to how information is retained for completed or no-show trips.

Trip Tickets Display Location-Based Time Zones
Trip tickets now accurately reflect the time zone of the pickup and drop-off locations, ensuring all timestamps are geographically consistent. This applies both to the original trip ticket and any regenerated versions.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed: Time Input Handling Corrected on Booking Form
An issue where AM times (e.g., 8:00) required manual AM selection has been fixed. The system now correctly interprets and stores the entered time without forcing dispatchers to manually adjust it..
Fixed: Preferred Vehicle Search Now Working
The "Preferred Vehicle" search field in the Users screen has been fixed. Dispatchers can now successfully search, and filter users based on their assigned preferred vehicles.
Fixed: Drop-Off ETA Calculation Corrected
In the Route Planner view, drop-off times were intermittently displaying the same as pick-up times due to incorrect ETA logic. This has now been resolved, and accurate drop-off estimates are shown for each stop.
General Stability Improvements
Several background errors and inconsistencies have been addressed to improve system reliability:
- Payment status now updates correctly in the exported workbook
- Driver break status is correctly fetched and displayed in the Operations screen
- Unrouted bookings now appear correctly on the Route Planner
- Trip, run, and route cards initialize properly and reflect real-time status updates
- Live events are accurately shown on both the Operations and Route Planner maps.
This release is another step toward a more intuitive, responsive platform that supports dispatchers in making faster, clearer decisions.
As always, we appreciate your support and look forward to your feedback!
