Enhancements to the Operations screen
This release introduces key enhancements to improve dispatcher control and prevent scheduling errors. Dispatchers can now choose whether a driver reassignment applies only to the selected date or to all future dates, with a confirmation pop-up ensuring changes are intentional and aligned with the Global Date Filter. Additionally, a new safeguard prevents duplicate route assignments by displaying a message during processing, ignoring repeated clicks, and logging attempts, eliminating accidental creation of duplicate runs.

Driver reassignment options:
Dispatchers can now choose whether to reassign a route to a different driver for only the selected date or for all future dates. This enhancement helps manage temporary driver unavailability without unintentionally affecting long-term schedules.
Key Enhancements
- Pop-up confirmation when reassigning a driver to clarify the scope of change.

Two options are available in the pop-up:
- Only for selected date – Applies changes to the chosen date only, with no impact on future schedules.
- For all future dates: This applies changes to the chosen date and updates the standing order so that all future trips for that route are assigned to the new driver.
- Global Date Filter aware – The change applies from the selected date forward and never retroactively updates past dates.

Duplicate assignment prevention:
We’ve introduced a safeguard to prevent multiple assignments of the same route when a dispatcher clicks the Assign button repeatedly while the system is still processing the first request. This enhancement eliminates the accidental creation of duplicate runs.
Key Enhancements
- Immediate validation: As soon as the Assign button is clicked, a pop-up message appears: Please wait while the system is assigning the route to the driver.
- Duplicate prevention: Additional clicks on the Assign button during processing are ignored.
