We released Version 4.79.0 on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
New Notifications UI, Billing Enhancements & Booking Accuracy Fixes
This release fixes critical booking issues, including incorrect address overrides and PU/DO date shifts. It also introduces a new notification section UI on the Booking Portal and adds an optional Billing Department field across Booking Portal and Dispatch for better booking classification and data flow.

Billing Department Field (Booking Portal & Dispatch):
Introduced a New Billing Department dropdown field to improve booking classification and reporting:

Booking Portal Enhancements:
- New optional Billing Department dropdown available on Create & Edit Booking screens.
- Field only appears if there are configured values in the dropdown table.
- Value flows seamlessly to Dispatch when a booking is created.

Dispatch (Operations Screen) Enhancements:
- Billing department field available on New & Edit Booking forms as well as Standing Orders.
- Field is editable and updates persist.
- Dropdown dynamically reflects the latest active values from the configuration table.

Data Handling:
- Not mandatory & blank values allowed.
- Historical values remain visible even if later removed from configuration.
- Field is only visible based on configuration.
Notification Section on Booking Portal:
- A new notification section UI has been added on the Booking Portal. All the notifications for different event updates on the bookings will be displayed in this section.
- Provides a structured space for future enhancements related to notifications.
Incorrect address assignment fix (Site = Other):
- Resolved an issue where selecting “Other” as the site name in the operations booking form would overwrite the trip address with a random address.
- Now, selecting “Other” will not alter pickup or drop-off addresses.
- Original trip addresses remain unchanged unless users explicitly edit them.
Pickup/Dropoff Date shift & validation error Fix:
- Fixed a bug where selecting a site name in the booking form incorrectly shifted pickup/dropoff dates to one day earlier.
- The system now only updates the time, keeping the dates intact.
- Resolved the silent validation error “Requested Pickup time not found” that appeared in the backend when saving corrected bookings.
- Users can now save bookings reliably without hidden errors.
