Booking Portal Enhancements
1. Drop-Off Time Enhancements for Multi-Leg and Return Trips
We’ve enhanced the Booking Portal to support drop-off time entry across all trip types including multi-leg journeys and return legs.

2. Live Run Path Visualisation with Account-Level Data Segregation
On the Booking Portal, account admins can now see live route paths and all pickup/drop-off points for their account’s trips.
Passenger names and stop locations are shown only for trips belonging to the admin’s account.
Trips from other accounts (even if part of a shared route) are not visible, maintaining strict passenger data separation.
3. Responsive CIM Experience in Booking Portal
The Client Information Management (CIM) module within the Booking Portal has been upgraded to be fully responsive across various screen resolutions. This improvement ensures that district admins can manage student data seamlessly- whether on a laptop, desktop, or tablet.
4. New Feature: Configurable Trip Approvals Workflow
Dispatchers can now review the new and updated trips coming in from booking portal before dispatching
How It Works:
For Tenant Admins on TOBI Dispatch:
New settings in portal configuration:
- Require Approval for add or edit trips

Submit New Ride Requests from Booking Portal with Approval Status
Booking Portal Users:
- Submit new ride requests from “Book Trip” section
- Requests show status as “Pending Dispatcher Approval” until reviewed
- Once approved, it will update the status to Dispatcher approved else it will show the status as Rejected along with rejection reason.

Approval & Rejection of Ride Requests (Dispatch-Side Control)
For Assist Services Dispatchers:
- View incoming ride requests or Trip modification request from the district portal on the Dispatch screen
- Approve to activate the trip and open for dispatch
- Reject with optional reason → trip remains in "Rejected" state for reporting/tracking

Supported modifications for approvals are: Address changes, Time changes, seating needs, service types

Dispatchers can filter trips using new status dropdown on operations
- Approved
- Pending Approval
- Rejected
TOBI Dispatch Improvements
1. New Feature: Auto-Cancel Subsequent Legs on No-Show
We’ve introduced an automation to handle rider no-shows more efficiently and reduce unnecessary dispatching efforts.
What’s New:
When a driver marks a Leg A trip as “No-Show”, the system will now automatically cancel all subsequent legs (e.g., Leg B, Leg C) of the same booking.
- Applies only to multi-leg bookings.
- All legs after the no-showed leg will be auto-canceled.
- The trip status for those legs will be updated to "Canceled".
- The cancelation reason will be set as: “Auto-Canceled – No-Show in Prior Trip”
Configurability:This behavior is configurable:
- Tenant-level setting: Apply globally across the tenant.
- Account-level setting: Override behavior for specific accounts
- Default- Set as OFF

2. New Feature: Add Multiple Exclusion Periods for Standing Orders
Managing recurring trips just got easier. We've enhanced the recurring booking flow to allow users to define multiple exclusion periods using start and end date ranges- saving time and simplifying complex schedules.
What’s New:
- Users can now add multiple exclusion periods (e.g., vacations, holidays, temporary pauses) during the creation or editing of a standing order.
- Each exclusion can be defined as a date range or a single date.
- The system will prevent overlapping or duplicate exclusion entries.
- All valid exclusions are saved as part of the recurring configuration without disrupting the recurring route tags.

3. CSV Trip Import Validation Enhancements
When importing trip data via CSV, if a trip has identical Pickup and Drop-Off times then, system will:
Reject the trip creation and Log an error log file with the message:"Pickup and Drop-off times are the same"
Allow the rest of the CSV to import successfully.
Bug Fix:
- Runs pane - Fixed an issue where trips could not be removed from runs.
Thank you, we appreciate your support and look forward to your feedback!
