Hey, everyone!
We've released Driver App Version 5.2.9 on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. This release includes some significant updates that you will find below.
As always, thanks for your feedback. We are always looking for new ways to improve your experience!
Internet Connectivity Notifications for Drivers
Enhanced driver awareness regarding internet connectivity issues. When the app loses its connection to the internet, a clear message will now be displayed, informing drivers of the disruption.

Store GPS Data in No Network Zone
Drivers using the mobile app can now have their GPS data automatically synced with the server once they reconnect to the network, even if the data was collected in a no-network zone. This enhancement ensures that trip tracking and location data are preserved and accurately updated retroactively.
Key Features:
- Offline GPS Data Collection: GPS data will continue to be recorded on the driver’s device, even in areas without network connectivity.
- Automatic Sync on Reconnection: When the app reconnects to the network, it will automatically upload and reconcile the GPS data with the server, ensuring no location information is lost.
Configure Cancel and No Show options for drivers
Tenant admins can now control to show or hide the “Cancel Trip” and “No show” trip options on the driver app.
- Permission Enabled: Drivers will see the permitted actions on the mobile app.
- Permission Disabled: When disabled, the option will not appear on the mobile app.

New Audio Prompt Toggle for Drivers
Drivers now have the flexibility to turn audio prompts on or off within the app, allowing them to control prompts based on their preferences and minimize distractions.
How to use:
- Toggle in Menu: Drivers can easily access the menu to check the status of audio prompts, with a clear indication showing whether prompts are currently on or off.
- Simple On/Off Control: By selecting “Audio Prompts” in the menu, drivers can toggle the setting to their desired state.
- When audio prompts are turned off, no alert sounds will play, even if a prompt is triggered, ensuring a quieter app experience. Turning prompts back on will re-enable audio alerts as needed.

Bug Fixes
- We have resolved an issue where driver app got stuck at the splash screen.
