We've released Driver App Version 6.5.0 on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Driver App Experience & Route Management Improvements
This release brings multiple updates to the Driver App and dispatcher workflows, focusing on route updates, notifications, earnings visibility, and chat features. Drivers will now have more clarity when routes are temporarily updated, better transparency on earnings, and a smoother overall app experience.
Key Highlights
Temporary Route Updates & Driver Acceptance:
- Drivers can now receive temporary route updates (e.g., new passengers or rerouted trips) and choose to accept or reject them.
- A notification is sent: “Route updated temporarily”.

Upon acceptance:
- The driver's app updates with the new temporary route.
- The guardian is notified of the change.

If rejected or timed out:
- Trips are reassigned to the next best available route.
- Dispatchers are alerted if all drivers reject, so they can adjust manually.
Smarter Ride Notifications & Redirects:

Drivers now get clearer push notifications for:
- New routes offerred.
- Changes to existing routesCountdown begins once the driver taps "Arrived at Location".
- Clicking the notification takes the driver directly to the Ride Request screen, showing the details to accept or reject.
Prevent Invalid Route Rejections:
- Fix: Drivers can no longer reject a route without selecting a reason.
- The rejection reason is now mandatory before submission.
Clearer Accept/Reject Flow:

The driver app now uses consistent semantic indicators across:
- Ride Request Screen
- Ride Details
- Accept/Reject Confirmation boxes
- Notifications & My Earnings
Transparent Driver Earnings:
- Drivers can now see cancelled trips and corresponding fare adjustments in the My Earnings section.
- Drivers can view their earnings right away.
- In driver earnings and trip details, the label “Cancelled” is replaced with “No Show” for better clarity.
Smarter Break Management:
- Driver cannot start a new break while already on break.
- Take Break button is disabled until the active break ends.
- Driver status clearly shows “On Break”.
