We released Version 4.80.0 on Friday, September 12, 2025.
Enhanced Notifications, Reliable Trip Revival & Dispatcher Controls
This release strengthens dispatcher visibility and control with real-time alerts for caregiver cancellations, driver login failures, and trip status changes. It also fixes gaps in the trip revival flow, adds driver assignment validations, and enhances Booking Portal notifications for greater transparency and operational reliability.
Key Highlights
Alerts for Ride Cancellations by Caregivers:
- Caregiver ride cancellations now trigger real-time alerts in Booking Portal.
- Dispatchers receive both in-portal notifications and push alerts with details: student name, trip date/time, timestamp, and reason (if provided).
- Events are logged for full auditability.
Dispatcher Alerts for Driver Login Failures:
- Dispatchers are now alerted if a driver fails to log in 20 minutes before a scheduled pick-up.
- Notifications include trip details (student name, scheduled time, driver name, route ID).
- Fixes applied for previous issues where:
- Driver name displayed as undefined.
- Notifications lacked full trip details and timestamp.
- Multi-tab syncing of read/unread status was inconsistent.
Booking Portal Notifications (Accept/Reject by Dispatch):
- Booking Portal users now see notificationswhen trips are accepted or rejected by Dispatch.
- Notifications display in a dedicated panel in the Booking Portal UI.
- Issue fixed where notifications did not appear when bookings were uploaded via CSV.
Driver Assignment Validations:

Added validations in the Driver Pane while assigning route/trip to the driver:
- Driver's active shift availability
- Vehicle seating capacity vs Passenger Requirements.
- Other applicable conditions.

On validation failure, a popup appears with:
- Clear error message.
- Options to Cancel or Override Validation.
Cancelled Trip Revival & assignment Flow Fix:

Corrected logic for trip cancellation and revival:
- Existing associations are now disabled on revival.
- Trips are properly removed from recurring routes.
- Reassignments create fresh and valid associations without conflicts.
- Prevents duplicate associations and ensures smooth re-tagging after revival.
