Run Suggestions Improvements:

Support for Split Shifts in Run Suggestions

Dispatchers can now generate run suggestions that fully support split shifts, which provides realistic task assignments across non-continuous work periods.

The run suggestion engine now allocates tasks to both segments of a split shift, ensuring no tasks are scheduled during defined break periods.

For example, tasks are now correctly distributed between 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, while avoiding the 12:00 PM–3:00 PM break.

Will Call Trips Included in Driver Capacity Calculations

Previously, Will Call trips were not considered in driver capacity, which often led to “No driver available” errors once those trips became ready for dispatch.

To address this, we’ve released a new enhancement along with configurable settings to improve routing accuracy and flexibility.

The run suggestion algorithm now accounts for Will Call trips while calculating driver capacity, even before those trips are assigned or scheduled.

This prevents overbooking drivers and improves operational planning.

New Configuration Options

1. Admins can now configure the following under Will Call Trips Settings:
   1. Load Time: Estimated passenger loading duration (e.g., 10 mins)
   2. Service Time (Will Call Window): Time buffer from estimated drop-off of Leg A to when the return (Will Call) trip can be scheduled (e.g., 90 mins) 
      1. Eg: Estimated drop off is 8:00 AM, estimated pickup time for will call leg will be 9:30 AM

Note: These trips are used to generate optimised capacity calculations but are still excluded from final run suggestions until they’re ready to dispatch.

Booking Portal: Filter the assigned trips by Driver

Account admins can now easily view and manage trips based on assigned drivers from the Trip Dashboard. This enhancement brings improved visibility and operational clarity into which passengers are traveling with which driver.

Driver Filter on Trip Dashboard:
Admins can now filter trips by driver to view only the trips assigned to a selected driver.

Searchable Driver Filter:

1.  A search box is now available to look up drivers by name.
2. Only one driver can be filtered at a time to maintain itinerary clarity.

Ordered Display:

1. Once a driver is selected, only the trips assigned to that driver will be displayed.
2. Trips are shown in the same order as they appear in the itinerary.

Bug Fixes:

Workbook:

1. Resolved an issue where the "Enroute to Pickup" column was missing in the downloaded CSV, ensuring all visible UI columns are now correctly included in exports.
2. Resolved an issue where trip tickets could not be generated from the Workbook due to a missing booking ID

Route Planner

Fixed an issue where ETAs were not recalculated after rearranging stops in the Route Planner. ETAs now update correctly when route order is modified.

This release is another step toward a more intuitive, responsive platform that supports dispatchers in making faster, clearer decisions.
